CALAMARI

My Calamari & Scallops were done to perfection. As a former chef, I am very picky & was not disappointed. Moreover, I had no idea Sweet Basil existed until my neighbor took me to the restaurant for a special occasion. The service was excellent, the restaurant very pleasant, & great desserts. Yummmm I recommend w/o reservation.

SCALLOPS CAPRESE*

This dish was wonderful. The scallops were done perfectly and the risotto was creamy and flavorful! I will be recommending Sweet Basil to all who will listen, as I greatly enjoyed my experience there.

SEAFOOD PUTTANESCA

Earlier this month we visited Sweet Basil to celebrate my wife's big day – 50yrs young! I ordered the seafood puttanesca for the first time. It was very tasty with just the right amount of heat. My wife had her usual – scallops caprese which she thoroughly enjoyed. Also, a big shout out to our waitress, Deanna, who made the night a little extra special! She was very attentive and friendly with much finer singing vocals than myself to help carry the happy birthday chorus. Sweet Basil has always been our go-to restaurant in Sheboygan County and you did not disappoint once again!

CHICKEN PARMESAN

Delicious! My chicken was cooked perfectly and it was tender. The chicken was not a frozen flat chicken breast. I tried both the dinner salad and the apple salad. I'm still thinking about how fresh and tasty they both were. The service was excellent. I also had one of the homemade deserts, the warm brownie with ice cream. Wow there's nothing better than homemade deserts and this one delivered perfect flavor. Warm and delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely delicious and filling! We had a rather large group for a birthday dinner. Staff accommodated us with smiles and were very friendly despite us running a little late and staying a tad after closing. Thank you so much`! We had a great time and you made my daughter very happy on her special day! We will be back!

PARMESAN CRUSTED WALLEYE

Delicious and light. Perfect selection for a late night dinner. Had some wine with this - very enjoyable. Waitstaff was very attentive and courteous. Great first impression. We definitely will be coming back again. Thank you!

Sweet Basil is consistently spectacular - a menu with just enough variety, tastefully assembled entrees, prepared and presented flawlessly, and great service. An essential restaurant if you are in the area.
